Off schedule and utilization

Hello,

I have a model for an ED, with four bed areas (known as Pods). Each of these pods opens and closes at certain hours of the day while only one works 24 hours. I have created time tables that outline the operating hours for each Pod. My question is, if I am using the in-built utilization (combined) under location state in the dashboard, does it exclude the scheduled off times of the bed areas?

If it does not exclude off-schedule hours, I would appreciate any guidance on how to accurately calculate utilization while excluding the non-operational hours of each Pod.

Any assistance on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Yes, Off Schedule time is excluded from the utilization calculation. You can compare the utilization in the attached example with and without the time table active to confirm this.

Hello Felix,

Thank you for the clarification and sample model for confirmation. There are indeed differences in utilization with and without time table. I am grateful.

Hello Felix,

I have a follow-up question. The utilization chart on the dashboard displays the 100% utilization for off-scheduled time. I want only the operating hours utilization to display. How do I take out the utilization for the off-scheduled time from the dashboard. Below is picture of what am talking about.

I will be grateful with any form of help.

Thank you.
