In the FlowItem Bin, add 2 labels on the box:
- a number label
- a string label
In a Processor, select Port By Case for the Send to Port parameter. For the Case Function, you will find in the picklist options for Labels:
- item.label1
- but you will not find item.label2
It's the same behaviour in the other By Case pickoptions like Values By Case, Send Item By Case.
I guess that this labels picklist only shows number labels.
However, since 22.2.0 (August 2, 2022):
Updated By Case pickoptions to use Variants for the case value.

In a future release, could you please add string labels in the Labels suggestions of By Case pickoptions ?
