AGV Animation at Control Point

Hello,

I am making a model where I have AGVs picking up flowitems (the yellow totes) from a queue, and bringing them in front of the operator. I would like the AGVs to hold the totes level while traveling. However, once the tote is at the operator I want it to slightly tilt (as it would in real life to make grabbing out of the tote easier). I made an animation for the AGV where the top tilts, however it doesn't move the flowitem. Is there a way to do that in an animation? I attempted to put the animation as a On Arrival trigger in the control point but it did not run. Appreciate any tips on how to simulate this tilting action when in a certain place on the network.

Thanks!

@spizuo, can you share a bit of what you have accomplished until now. It is much easier to improve a structure rather than to discuss later that a new provided model does not meet your expectations. Thank you.

Apologies, I could not attach the model as the file was too large.

Yes, an animation can also move items inside the object. They must be added as surrogate components in the animation. Then, before running the animation, you bind the item to the animation variable of that component, so the animation draws the item shape instead of whatever you used in the animation editor. See the post below for an example.

Another option would be to use a kinematic to tilt the item.
