Adjusting Parameters on Photo Eyes

Hi Team,

I am looking to create something maybe a little more adjustable in my model. Right now, I have an array on my photo eyes, this will tie the associate to a different bay. I was hoping to make this into a parameter some how, but in the midst of setting up the parameter I think I would need to adjust the parameter AND photo eye which wouldn't really allow me to fully utilize the experimenter. Is there another way to accomplish this?

TIA,

Lauren

Are you asking how to split the bays and have the photoeye position move to match the split position (so that it is roughly opposite the bays that have been assigned to the photoeye)?

If not could you give us a bit more detail?

I think that's what I currently have going on. I have the photo eyes set up with labels that match the bays:

Which is good. My goal is to set up a parameter and tie in the photo eyes so I can use the experimenter. I have a parameter set up currently, but I'm looking for a solution that's a little more flexible. The parameters set, wont adjust the labels on the photoeyes I have set up. I'm just not sure if there's a better way so that when my parameter is adjusted, my photoeye labels are too. That would save me from having to do a few different versions of my model.

If you need more clarifications, let me know. My apologies for any confusion. TIA!

The photoeyes should be getting the values you set in parameters - is that not working for you?
